Unity Stamps Challenge…

Image
Ok.. this is another 1st for me.  I am doing a challenge for Unity stamps . Their challenge was to create a “FASHION FORWARD” project. We can only use Unity Stamps or Ippity Stamps. My problem is that I only have  two stamp sets at the moment and they are “something within” and “garden variety”. So how do I create a “FASHION Forward” project?  Eeeek.. this was hard and I do not know if it will meet the qualifications but I only used UNITY STAMPS stamp from the SOMETHING WITH stamp set.  I also used Graphic 45 “Le Romantique” paper.  I cut out the oval fashionista lady from the “newspaper ad” side of the paper.. then I used the reversed side to make it the base of my card.  I used the frame stamp set and stamped it on to the add side.  Then I used the “he as made everything Beautiful” stamp to stamp inside the fame.  I then cut it out and used CRACKLE Accents to cover both the frame and the oval fashionista lady to give it an antique look to it.  Hope it meets the requirements.. if

Simple Sunday Challenge @ Getting Cricky

Image
So I look forward everyday to going to Ms. Kristal’s website , Getting Cricky with K Andrew Designs ,  to see what awesome thing she has up. Well, on Sunday’s she has her SIMPLE SUNDAY CHALLENGE! The challenge was to make any project with a Pack Your Bags/Travel theme.   For my card I chose the Camera from the solutions cartridge Summer Vacation & the “OH-Snap” is from Amusing Animals stamp set from SCRAPPY MOM’s.  Background paper is from Basic Greys’, “wander” 6x6 paper pad. I figure.. “OH-Snap” forgot to tell you what a wonderful time we had on vacation” or something of that nature! LOL  .. is this stretching it?    Oh well I love the idea!   hope you do too!

Scrappy Moms- Terrific Tuesday Challenge

Image
This is my 1st time every doing a challenge for SCRAPPY MOM’s blog!  I have a couple of her stamps which I ADORE! For this challenge is a two-for - B is for Boy or Sugar & Spice, meaning we can use a cut from either of these cartridges or if you do not have these carts get a cut that is similar.  So since I do not own these carts, I decided to use the rocket from Nifty Fifties, which is cut at 2.88.  The background I heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The stars are from MY FAVORITE Stamps, Icing on the cake stamp set. I thought the starts looked retro!  The sentiment I printed myself since I do not have a boyish stamp set. Hope yall like. THANKS!

Simple Saturday sketch Challenge.

Found this challenge through Annabelle stamps blog. It is from Stampinmoments   Andrea’s website.   So I decided to use my little Ian that I colored in.. I think he looks handsome! Gonna give to my HANDSOME Nephew Nick just because!!

TACKY TUESDAY Challenge

Image
This challenge was to use the cut from Birthday Bash, but since I do not have this I used the rabbit from Winter frolic or woodland? I deleted the cut on my gypsy so I can’t remember.  I wanted to create a scene with it using the fence from Everyday paper doll.  the tree is a Donna Salazar stamp, Partridge in a pear tree, which I colored in with color pencils. The clouds and sun are from My cute stamps “Cheer Up” set.  The  “HOPPY BIRTHDAY” is from MPS, Punnylicious. I’m seriously not feeling it. But I didn’t want to trash it since iused  ERINLEE Creative “my favorite things'” paper pad  for the base of the card. Ohh well.. I tried!  My bunny looks MAD!! maybe it has rabies?? eeek!!

OK.. PHEW!! I finally got back to video recording my card making. I had not done it in a while.  Now straight to business. 1.  K Andrew’s Design Simply Sunday Challenge —Getting Cricky! –Omgosh Kristal is such a hoot!! Love her!!  The challenge is to m ake any project with a Butterfly or Winged Thing theme--use any supplies you desire. 2. My Pink Stamper - Pinkalious Blog hop.. create a spring themed card. 3.  Peachy Keen Stamp Sketch challenge 47, we also had to use some bling which is the pearl brad I used in the center of the flower.

A card…

Image
So I got in my SU order and well it was sad that I had to start using one of the sets.  The “Thanks for Caring set” it is so beautiful that set with nice sentiments.  I hated that I had to use it so fast.  I made this card for my Mom to give to her Cousin who’s daughter just passed away. :*( The ribbon idea I stole from Kristen Long my SU demo, she sent me a card with the ribbon tied that way. I thought that was so awesome.    The sentiment I embossed on a label I cut from my Gypsy wanderings I believe? I had never cut out labels before and I think I’m going to now!! I love it! Hope you like my card.

Omgosh!! I ohhh sooo loved making this cake! I’ve used my ciruct before to make stencils to make a cake, but this one was the best one soo far!! Here are step by step of the things I did. I used contact paper for the stencil, its cheap! The cake is all homemade from scratch no box as well as the frosting!! I’ll be using this project for a SVG Cuts - Sure Cuts A lot challenge and K Andrew's Simply Sunday Challenge at Getting Cricky - challenge was to use a suger and spice theme.. well the sugar is sugar to create this cake! hehehehe the Spice is the boot because it was a boot kick in my BUTT to make this cake! LOL I hope this qualifies! If not ohh well!! i Enjoyed making it! hahah Hope you like!

Finally, I get to create something!  Wowo this week as been hectic.  My 1st week back to work since my workman’s comp thingy.  That’s in the past, so lets move on!  This card is for Annabelle’s Sketch Challenge 035 and Say it with…LOVE!  I was inspired by my bestie BEV!  Hey Hey BEV! heehee!  She creates such beautiful cards using flowers.  So I wanted to try to do the same.  Its not as good just two flowers, all of which are from M’s Recollection mulberry flowers I purchased at the beginning of the year but hadn’t used! The card also includes: Pearl drops from Annabelle Stamps, Sentiment from Unity Stamps-Something With in (my 1st time using Unity stamp and I loved it!), Glimmer Mist- Walnut Gold, Ribbon from Close to my Heart –(ivory, but was inked with Ballet blue ink from SU), Patterned paper from Best of K&Co.
