This challenge was to create a project using something vintage, or a piece of memorabilia on your layout.  The memorabilia I used is the ticket stub to the baseball game. This is a layout of my nephew. I love taking pictures of him. He is too cute.  I love the pic of him standing with the glove in front of his face.  This pose reminds me of John Travolta in Grease where he is trying out baseball.     Ok this is my 1st time using washi tape and trying to do all that layering and mix of papers.  I’m not use to doing that. I’m just use to base being patterned then solid straight cut for the matting of the photos.  This is odd for me.  I am not liking it.. :/   This is also me finally using the Studio Calico kits.  I have 4 kits that I haven't’ even used so I decided to get those out and use them.  You don’t wanna see my scrap space its horrible.  Challenge over at Scrapbook & Cards Today.. ++++++ OK I updated this. I was at work all day thinking about this layout and

Was to make a custom pin embellishment.  So the pin I had already had a pearl on top. SO I decided to cut 4 layers of flowers from an old SU punch.  I think this would look so cute on a card.!   Challenge over at Scrapbook & Cards today

SCT challenge 2 & Studio Calico Go Graphic NSD Challenge:

Image
This challenge was to create a layout using the sketch provided on the SCT website.. Then for Studio calico I had to GO GRAPHIC! Here is my take on it.. I struggled with this one.  Again I do not really like this.  I tried doing misting.  then I didn’t really like it so I tried to cover it up. But then I wanted to use the mask to distress it.  IDK… Still not use to this whole distressing and misting trend that is happening.  Of course for the graphic had to use the hexagon kinda thing!  Challenge over at Scrapbook & Cards today Challenge over at S t udio Calico ----  UPDATE… As I did with the layout for SCT #17.. I redid it because well I was not happy with all the misting I did.  I just trashed the misted white paper and used another white cardstock and distressed it with distressing tool using the MASK I made on my cameo using transparency sheet. This is so much cleaner for me.. I like this one!
