Howdy Howdy! Wow!!  It has been 2 years since I last blogged!  Life sure does get in the way! First thing first!  I am a wife, special needs teacher, backer, crafter, stamper, card maker, scrapbooker and project lifer and also an Independent Stampin Up Demonstrator!   I have been an Independent SU demonstrator for the past 3 years but decided to go full force online and bring you all the fun of stampin and what STAMPIN UP has to offer!    I would happy if you pick me to be your demonstrator! Howdy!  It's been a long time since I've posted and done a challenge. I saw this technique via Papertreyink ink YouTube channel and I had to give it a try! Make it Monday #136: textured stamping! Wow it has been forever since I've made a post!  Here are a few things I made for my great nieces 1st birthday party!  She just loves Minnie Mouse! The Invite to set the Theme.  I used Mickey Mouse head from Mickey & Friends Cricut Cartridge.  Thanks to my friend Jennie for lending me this cartridge! Banner I made using my Cameo.    Birthday Cake I made.   The Minnie Mouse and bows were cut with my Cricut using the Mickey & friends cricut cartridge.  Birthday Banner bought from the Silhouette Store.  Cupcake stand i made using cake boards!    Sizes used:  20", 18", 16", 14", 12".   To create the tulle ruffle i just gathers the tulle and sewed it on to the ribbon and got glued it to the bottom.  THe minnie mouse ribbon is from Michaels.  The columns to separate the levels were cans of large spaghetti sauce and small cans of corn to give it a bit of height from the table.  ...

This is my 1st time doing a challenge for Prima.  I love their products but i don't really have that much of them.  I love seeing Tiffany use their stuff.  I am in awe how beautifully she uses their products for her layout. So after seeing her layouts.. i decided i would try my hand at doing a sketch challenge.  SO i went through my stash and found all my items and used those to create my layout and also did a video of it. Wow!! Its been since  September 3rd since i posted something.  Its about the same time i stopped making cards and like the 3rd week of the school year.  SO i have been BUSY!!  So i think i'm settled into work now. LOL Yeah like 5 months later! So yeah work has been keeping me busy and me being a bum mostly.  But i'm trying to get back to crafting. i didn't even do cards for Christmas this year.  I did do some tags for the gifts. So I am going to do some New Years Scrappy Resolutions.... Which are: SMASH BOOK--- I bought this thing like last year and still nothing is in it!  Gotta do that and probably do a vid of me doing stuff in it.   I thought I’d share with you the projects I submitted for the Faber Castell Design Memory Craft Guest DT.   Here are my projects and after are the details of the Dream Grow Inspire project. Faith, Heart, Dreams, Love BUTTERFLY   DREAM, GROW, INSPIRE, LEARN   Phew!! Finally I got this project done and I love it!! Materials I used will be listed below after my step by step process! Well, sort of step by step! This is Mixed Media so you have free range to mix it all up! First thing first is put a layer of gesso on my paper. I let that air dry naturally. I really didn’t want to warp the paper with the heat gun. Once dried I then used a leaf stencil I created on my cameo with overhead transparency. I love creating my own stencils! I placed the leaf stencil on top of the gesso paper and smeared modeling paste all over it and lifted it up! I repeated the process in 3 other areas of the paper. I then let that air dry.   I am so loving doing Mixed Media now! OMGOSH.. Ever since I saw Limor Webber’s Youtube and she was using FABER CASTEL DESIGN MEMORY CRAFT  Pitt Big Brush Markers.. I was in love and I had to have some!!  I bought some from M’s when they were on sale but they are limited to only 4 colors, then a friend from Facebook said she had some and not using and asked if I wanted and of course YES I wanted.  Then I bought some Gelatos from M’s.. Wow.. I had not done a multiple challenge in a long time.  Peachy Keen Stamps has a challenge to create anything just as long as you use your Peachy Keen stamps! Well, its been a while since I’ve used my Peachy Keen face stamps.   The next challenge is for Annabelle Stamps sketch challenge and here is the sketch: The next challenge is for Celebrate the Occasion Challenge #73 which is I Scream for Ice Cream.   Ooooo this is perfect for my Peachy Keen faces !! When I first saw this blog ( Authentique Paper )a few days ago… I was like I have to do this challenge!  Then I read the rules that I have to use Authentique paper and products.. UGH!! is what I thought.. then last night I was like …hmmm I know I’ve seen some Athentique in my paper stash.. So there I go searching and searching all my paper.. Dang nothing.. then about 3 hrs ago.. I found it! It was in my Studio calico Kit! YES!!  So here is their July Sketch: And here is my take on it….  The paper I used is .. and I must say its my only 12x12 paper.(Natural & Dictation word stickers).   The ticket is from the blue side of the paper which I cut. The stripes is from the “B” side of the paper.  Flower I just fussy cut the circles and put a brad through it.   The stamp is from Tim Holtz =Artful Things.       Ohh I so hope I win! I want more Authentique paper.. I had put myself on a paper ban.. the only paper I can get...

I am on a roll with doing cards this week!  Wowo! I was on a lost my mojo kinda month but now… LOOK OUT! hahahaha  For the Cat’s Meow Challenge I had to follow this sketch: which I turned vertical and came up with this: I used Webster’s Petite Papers collection combo pack (Sunday Picnic & Everyday Poetry), SU! Send me soaring stamp set for the kites and sentiment.
