So we decided to go on a DAYCATION.  Yeah the weekend before we start work again. Yes, we teachers go in 2 weeks earlier than the kiddos. I’m so looking forward to going back to work with a new principal and new school, but then I’m like where did the summer go? I decided to create some Summer cards to get me in the mood!  Although, we ended up not going to the coast, I still ended up making some beachy cards. I used Splashtastic Summer Art Stamps by K. Andrew Designs . I’m so Loving using the DCWV Sea Glass Chipboard pieces.  The middle card is your standard A2 card, the Buckets of Fun is a 3x3 and the SHELL-O is a 4x4.  This is my favorite of these summer cards! So I was in a crafting mood! Its about time!!  I created two cards using the Positive Thoughts Art Stamps by K. Andrew Designs.     For this card, I used the “Being a person of Value..” sentiment. I went beyond my normal card making to add lots of flowers and PRIMA LACE! yes.. Prima Lace! The Dragon fly is a chipboard piece from DCWV Sea Glass collection. I’m loving this box of chipboard, which I received from my Secret Santa this past Christmas.  Love it! Yes my fellow Scrappers and Card Makers, I finally made a Shaker card!  I tried last night, in which I spend over an hour with two types of cards and couldn’t do it! I gave up.  So this evening I tried my hand at it again. This time I used a Cricut cartridge.  Ok yesterday I was trying to do one  with using only stamps but nope.  I needed a Cricut cut!  I of course used K. Andrew Art Stamp!  I used “FOOD FOR THOUGHT”  for this card, you will be be like what!! Yes I did! On this ROBOT card!?  What!!!  YUP!  Food for Thought can not only be used for food related cards, etc. but it can be used for other cards!  I love that K. Andrew stamps are so versatile! I couldn’t find beads small enough to put in the center of his body so I put Glitter.  only thing is that it is sticking to the transparency. Yes, its Sunday again!  Love Sunday’s! This week we are featuring FOOD FOR THOUGHT stamp set by K. Andrew Designs . I just love this stamp set. Its too cute! I love using “From My Kitchen”, “Freshly Picked”  cricut cartridges to go with this stamp set! For this SS challenged I created a project.  I have this plastic Rubbermaid bread box that keeps getting moved all over the kitchen. Its just your typical clear bread box. So I finally did a layout! Its been forever! I think the last layout I did was a layout I did for my submission to be on Kristals Design Team! wowo 3 months ago? Yikes!  Doing this layout was a pain! LOL  I couldn’t figure out what papers to use.   I used some photos from Fernando’s Birthday and I put them all in a collage.  I had seen Nicole McCormick from Start to Finish on TWOPEA’s in a bucket youtube videos do her picture like this and of course I had to try it!  Yikes its soo hard to do a layout like this!  She is such a pro!  Here is my Layout!
